Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry Course

A 7 day course leading to a Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry qualification. Also includes a FREE 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification which as from the 1st April 2021 is now a mandatory requirement for all new learners to the security industry.

Covers the four mandatory units:

• Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry.

• Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry.

• Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry

• Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry. 

The course is assessed through the learner completing multiple choice examinations for each unit, plus practical assessments throughout the course as well as a short questions and answer session with the tutor.

All elements of the course must be achieved by the learner, and having successfully completing all elements it will allow you to apply to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) for your Door Supervisor Licence which will be valid for 3-years.

There is also a small amount of distance learning to be completed by the learner prior to attending the course including a small English assessment, and a small workbook. There will also be some distance learning completed by the learner on the first aid element based on the knowledge.

The first aid element must be achieved by the learner before they progress onto the security element of the course.
