Who requires this qualification?

These qualifications are specifically for those individuals who are to become an emergency, and first aider, in the workplace. The EFAW is one-day course and meets the requirements of both the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

Assessed by completing the knowledge on our distance learning portal in your own time, then coming to our centre and completing a short 15 – question examination and recording of the required practicals such as the Recovery Position, CPR & Defib and DRAB.

Is also now a mandatory requirement for any Door Supervisor or Security Officer wishing to renew their SIA Licence. Close Protection Officers require a minimum of a FAW, or FREC or FPOS to renew their licence with the SIA.

Cost: £60.00

The FAW is a 2-day course and meets the requirements of both the Health & safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

Assessed by completing the knowledge on our distance learning platform in your own time, then coming to our centre and completing a 3- question examination and recording of the required practicals within this qualification.
